Description
The InfraSat DTH preliminary system contain at it first stage 16 channels. (The final system will support at the final stage more then 150 channels).
Eight channels are "incoming channels" provided by international content providers and eight remaining channels are "local originated" channels provided from the local transmission system. The transmission system includes 8 commercial channels.
The Omneon video servers used for real time transmission are controlled by Pebble Beach automation system, for ingest and playout, while the DIVA archive system is hosting all content ingested and provide, automatically, content needed for transmission according to predefined playlists.
The reception, compression & modulation are based on Tandberg systems and monitoring is using Evertz multi display systems.
