At avcom, we are aware of the difficulties you and other people may encounter when trying to browse certain websites. We would like to ensure that anyone can access our site. We strictly adhere to the WC3 / WCAG 2.0 guidelines, which address most of the accessibility issues facing today’s web users.
Our website is accessible at AA level.
Can’t browse the site from your device?
The code of this site is built in such a way that you should not experience any kind of compatibility issues. We repeatedly tested the site on different types of platforms, web browsers and screen sizes. We have ensured that the way you have chosen to visit our website will allow you to gain access. The website layout is responsive and adapts itself to the screen size. That means you don’t have to zoom in to see what’s written when using a small device.

You can contact us through the “Contact Us” page and give us the specifications of your device. Send us specifications including: operating system, web browser or screen size and any other relevant information you have, including error messages. We will look into the matter and let you know when the problem is resolved.

Navigation
The navigation on our site can be done through the top menu or through the menu at the bottom of the site. There is not a single page on our site that cannot be reached through these menus, no matter what page you are on.
We’ve also made navigation simple for those who have trouble using a mouse or keyboard for whatever reason. You can use the TAB key to navigate forward between links on the site and SHIFT + TAB to navigate back. When you navigate, the component you are navigating to will be highlighted. That way, you’ll know exactly which element you’re looking at because we’ve provided a definition for each element in the code (headers, tables, lists, etc.).
Visual and hearing disabilities
Most of our website is text-based, so it is compatible with most screen readers. This means that most people can enjoy the content. We have also made sure that all of our images contain alternative text for those who have difficulty seeing the images. We’ve included a description for each image, so even if you can’t see the image you can listen to its description and imagine what it looks like.
Our multimedia, which contains video/audio – has subtitles. Thus, those who have hearing problems can understand what is happening in the videos and enjoy them as well.
There is one thing that is not fully accessible on our site that we are aware of. We intentionally hide label tags in forms, it just doesn’t look that good in our design. What’s more, we’ve added a feature called ARIA and/or a placeholder to form fields so that screen readers know which row in the form they’re focused on.
At this time, there is no accessibility menu on mobile. The reason for this is professional because the icon hides part of the text and then more damage is done when it is present. If it is important to you that we make a menu on mobile as well, please contact us.
This site was built by humans, and if mistakes have been made in any of the images that do not have alternative text or a video without subtitles – please contact us on the “Contact Us” page and let us know. We will fix the problem as soon as possible.
Website accessibility bar
When we initially designed our website, we wanted to instill a pleasant atmosphere and give our guests a comfortable viewing experience. Therefore, we chose fonts and colors that relax the eyes and contribute to the readability of the information we provided. We put visitors’ needs first when we made these decisions.
If for some reason you have difficulty enjoying or viewing the content because of the appearance of the site, please note that we have added a button in the upper corner of the screen – an accessibility button.
By clicking this button, an accessibility bar will open. In the bar, you can make the desired changes to the appearance of the site. You can change the contrast of the colors, and choose dark or light colors. You can even change to gray and white only. You can control the font size and make characters bigger or smaller according to what is more convenient for you. If you need help navigating you can have all the links appear in bold.
If you decide to reset the settings back to their defaults just click the button icon again, or refresh the page and everything will be back to normal.

This site was developed taking into account the current Internet standards. We used web technologies such as PHP, JavaScript, HTML 5, and CSS3 programming languages. We are always making changes, both to the design and to the base code on this site, to keep up with new updates to the standards as they are released.
