SELECTED PROJECTS

broadcast & new media

RGE

RGE Group, which operates some of Israel’s leading television channels, including Sport 5, Channel 99, and various children’s channels – needed to relocate its operations, creating a strategic opportunity to modernize and align its entire broadcast infrastructure with the highest standards of today’s media industry. With the transition to an IP-based environment and the need for flexible, multi-channel, multi-format workflows, RGE required a modern, modular, and fully redundant platform to support broadcasting, routing, storage, and archiving – including full Remote Production capabilities. avcom delivered a comprehensive, top-tier solution that now serves as the central broadcast backbone for all RGE channels. The system integrates cutting-edge technologies, full redundancy, smart IP management, and is built for future scalability.
The project was planned and executed in close collaboration with RGE’s engineering and production teams, marking a major technological milestone for one of Israel’s leading media groups.

i24 news

With a mission to deliver news from Israel to an international audience in four languages: Hebrew, English, Arabic, and French, i24 news set out to build a global, autonomous, and distributed broadcast infrastructure that would support top-tier production and transmission, with centralized control and multi-channel content management from diverse global sources. avcom led the project end-to-end, establishing three robotic studios in different languages, a state-of-the-art master control room, and a modular infrastructure designed for continuous broadcasting without reliance on human operation. Later, the project expanded to include a dedicated Hebrew-language studio (Channel 15), supporting the channel’s growing presence in the Israeli market.
The entire operation was completed in just five months – marking a technological milestone in the field of multilingual broadcasting.

KAN 11

With the creation of Israel’s new public broadcasting authority, there was an urgent need to establish a multi-system, advanced broadcast & OTT infrastructure that could fully support operations long before moving into its permanent headquarters – all under tight time and technical constraints. avcom was selected to lead the project, and on schedule, we delivered a complete broadcast operation for KAN 11, including studios, control rooms, and cutting-edge media systems. Thanks to precise engineering, advanced technology, and rapid execution, we enabled seamless, around-the-clock broadcasting with a robust and agile solution. Following the successful launch of the temporary site in Modi’in, avcom continued to support KAN with its transition to its permanent headquarters in Givat Shaul, Jerusalem – a full-scale, end-to-end project that included relocation of existing equipment, procurement and integration of new systems, infrastructure planning and cabling, complete system installation, and hands-on support until final go-live.

The Financial Channel

AVCOM led the design and construction of the new broadcast studio for Israel’s Financial Channel, an innovative news outlet dedicated to real-time coverage of economics and business.
The project stemmed from a clear need to create a modern, reliable, and flexible broadcast environment capable of supporting continuous news production, live commentary, and real-time financial events. As part of the project, we integrated advanced cameras equipped with 4K licenses and unique technology to eliminate the Moire Effect when shooting against LED walls. The setup also included lenses optimized for live broadcasts, news, sports, and ENG productions. The system was tailored for day-to-day operations in a dynamic studio setting, with an emphasis on broadcast quality, operational ease, and full alignment with the channel’s professional demands.
